On Thursday, the Minister of State for Affairs of the Head of Government and the Cabinet of the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Ben Ghalboun, discussed administrative reforms and human resource development with the Minister of Civil Service, Abdel Moneim Ibrahim Saleh, to enhance the efficiency of government performance.

The meeting addressed procedures for financial releases and mechanisms for settling them according to approved controls, as well as organizing the staffing structure and addressing disparities in job distribution within public entities to achieve optimal use of human resources.

The discussion also covered the ministry’s plan to reform the civil service system, programs to improve the efficiency of staff through training and qualification, in addition to developing institutional management and raising the level of performance within the state’s administrative apparatus.

Both sides affirmed the government’s continued implementation of comprehensive administrative reforms aimed at improving the quality of public services and building an organized and effective administrative apparatus capable of meeting the requirements of the current phase.

This meeting is part of a government direction to develop public administration and address functional imbalances.
