Tripoli — The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity praised the efforts of its personnel in securing the municipal council elections held today in the municipalities of “Tajoura, Al-Sayyad, Al-Hashan”.

The Ministry affirmed its full readiness to secure all upcoming electoral processes, ensuring the enhancement of security and stability and supporting the democratic path in the country.

The Ministry stated that the security directorates in the areas under its jurisdiction, in cooperation with the Ministry’s security apparatus, implemented the approved security plan on Saturday to secure the electoral process in the mentioned municipalities. This is part of ongoing efforts to ensure the electoral process proceeds in a safe and organized atmosphere.
