TRIPOLI – The High National Commission for Elections announced the preliminary statistical results for the voting process in the municipal council elections, following the closure of polling centers on Saturday.

The Commission stated on its official page that the official data showed a preliminary participation rate of 72% in the municipalities of Tajoura, Al-Sayyad, and Al-Hashan.

According to the Commission, the number of voters reached 11,645 from the total registered voters who had received their election cards and were eligible to vote.

The Commission confirmed that these figures remain preliminary, pending the completion of the sorting and auditing processes in preparation for announcing the final results according to the established legal procedures.
