Bibit.id Achieves MURI Record for Most Capital Market Accounts Opened by Civil Servants in Langsa City, Aceh

Financial literacy and capital market inclusion among Civil Servants has reached a historic milestone.

Through collaboration between Indonesia’s leading digital investment application, Bibit.id, the Indonesia Stock Exchange Aceh Region, the Financial Services Authority of Aceh Province, and the Langsa City Government, a record from the Indonesian World Record Museum (MURI) was achieved from the westernmost part of Indonesia: “Most Capital Market Accounts Opened by Civil Servants.” Specifically, 2025 mutual fund accounts were successfully verified.

This MURI record is highly symbolic. Achieved in the year 2025, exactly 2025 accounts were opened during Financial Inclusion Month and the celebration of the 24th Anniversary of the Langsa City Government in Aceh.

“From the western tip of Indonesia, we are amplifying the message about the importance of investing to build a better financial future. This MURI record confirms that the strategic cooperation between Bibit, the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the Financial Services Authority, and the Langsa City Government is essential for increasing capital market inclusion and literacy in Indonesia,” a representative stated.

The Mayor of Langsa added, “This MURI record is an important milestone at the peak of Financial Inclusion Month, promoting inclusive, equitable, and sustainable economic growth. May this achievement inspire us all to continue innovating, collaborating, and providing the best service towards a Champion Langsa.”

Meanwhile, the Head of the Indonesia Stock Exchange Aceh Region stated that this achievement is not just about numbers and records. “This is about the spirit of collaboration that has grown between the government, financial institutions, and the community. From Langsa, we prove that synergy and trust can create a major movement towards shared prosperity. Every mutual fund account opened is a symbol of a small step towards significant change.”

Furthermore, the Head of the Financial Services Authority of Aceh Province said, “This initiative is excellent for creating a smart, innovative, and prosperous society through the selection of legal and logical financial instruments, particularly those in the Capital Market, with trusted financial industry players.”

To help Indonesians invest safely, comfortably, and in a diversified manner, Bibit has introduced various innovations throughout 2025.

For example, Bibit launched Bibit Plus, which makes it easier for everyone to invest in various asset classes, including Sharia-compliant ones, within a single application, using the Customer Fund Account balance as a payment method.

Among other options, people can purchase Fixed Rate Government Bonds starting from IDR 1 million, which are 100% guaranteed by the Indonesian government.

Bibit has also consistently been the top-selling fintech distribution partner for Government Securities in various series issued by the government.

Together with Stockbit, the securities company within the same group, Bibit has established strategic partnerships with the Indonesia Stock Exchange in various regions such as Aceh, Jambi, South Sumatra, Lampung, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, South Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, Central Sulawesi, and Maluku to support the government’s program to increase capital market inclusion and literacy in Indonesia.

“Moving forward, we hope that the activities initiated by these Civil Servants will inspire the wider public to invest correctly in the Capital Market and provide logical and legal solutions for future financial planning,” the representative concluded.
