The implementation of the sacrificial animal slaughter carried out by the Golkar Party Regional Leadership Council of Tangerang City, on Thursday (May 28), at the Daarussulthon Islamic Boarding School, Pinang District.
TANGERANG – As a tangible manifestation of social concern during the Idul Adha 1447 Hijriah moment, the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the Golkar Party of Tangerang City held a massive sacrificial animal slaughter action. This activity is the party’s annual agenda to share happiness with the community while also being a form of worship for its cadres.
The symbolic slaughter procession was centered at the Daarussulthon Islamic Boarding School, Pinang District, on Thursday (May 28). The Chairman of the Golkar Party Regional Leadership Council of Tangerang City, Sachrudin, directly led the activity.
“This is our annual agenda as a form of concern and worship. Specifically at this point (Daarussulthon Islamic Boarding School), we slaughtered 8 cows and 5 goats,” said Sachrudin during the event.
However, that number is only symbolic of a larger movement. Sachrudin explained that Golkar cadres throughout the Tangerang City area also moved simultaneously at their respective points. If totaled cumulatively, the number of sacrificial animals prepared reached 49 cows and 18 goats.
Regarding distribution, Sachrudin ensured that all the sacrificial meat would be directly distributed to those in need.
“The slaughter results are immediately distributed to the wider community, especially residents around the slaughter locations, as well as party cadres,” said the chairman of the party bearing the banyan tree symbol, who also serves as the Mayor of Tangerang.
Through this momentum, Sachrudin hopes that the values of sacrifice, sincerity, and concern shown by the extended family of the Golkar Party of Tangerang City can bring blessings and real benefits to all levels of society.
