A male police officer from the Toyota Police Station in Aichi Prefecture was referred to prosecutors for allegedly attempting to secretly film a woman working for a delivery health service (an outcall adult entertainment business) at his home.

The officer in his 20s, assigned to the community affairs division of the Toyota Police Station, was referred for attempted violation of laws prohibiting the filming of sexual acts.

According to investigative sources, the officer is suspected of attempting to secretly film a female employee of a delivery health service he had called to his residence earlier this year.

The incident came to light when supervisors, concerned about the officer’s work conduct, examined his smartphone and discovered the video.

In response, the Aichi Prefectural Police conducted searches of the police station and the officer’s home in mid-May, but no additional similar images or videos were found.

The officer has admitted to the allegations during questioning, and the Aichi Prefectural Police are considering disciplinary action.
