NGOBRASS Becomes a Synergistic Space for Depok Social Services and Social Pillars to Address Community Issues
In an effort to strengthen coordination among social activists, Depok City Social Service (Dinsos) held the Ngopi Bareng Pak Supian Suri (NGOBRASS) event with hundreds of social pillars at Cibubur Camping Ground (Buperta).
This event was not just a gathering for fellowship, but also an open dialogue space to strengthen synergy in addressing various social issues faced by the community of Depok.
It was stated that the NGOBRASS activity was an important moment to unite the steps between all social pillar human resources (HR) and the Depok City Government (Pemkot).
“These social pillars work directly in the field every day, interact with the community, and their duties intersect. Therefore, we want to strengthen relationships and communication so their work becomes more solid,” it was explained.
It was explained that the social pillars present included village facilitators, Family Hope Program (PKH) companions, Sub-district Social Welfare Workers (TKSK), supervisors, Disaster Preparedness Cadets (Tagana), Community Social Workers Association (IPSM), Youth Organizations (Katar), and Family Welfare Counseling Institutions (LK3).
According to the explanation, the existence of these social pillars is the government’s frontline in ensuring social programs are on target and reach citizens who are truly in need.
“Social problems cannot be solved individually. Integrated synergy between the government and social workers is needed so that handling is faster and more comprehensive,” it was clarified.
It is hoped that activities like NGOBRASS can become a sustainable forum to strengthen work networks, share experiences, and align perspectives in serving the community.
“May this activity bring new spirit to strengthen collaboration, maintain solidarity, and enhance the professionalism of social pillars in helping the Depok community,” it was concluded.
