The “Gathering Talent in Jingchu, Jointly Building the Pivot” 2026 Hubei Province National Touring Recruitment Event for University Graduates arrived at Zhengzhou University. Over 130 central state-owned enterprises, public institutions, and key enterprises from Hubei brought more than 5,000 high-quality positions to recruit talent. The event attracted over 2,700 students seeking jobs that day, with organizers receiving more than 1,960 resumes, of which 1,052 individuals reached preliminary employment intentions.

No Income Ceiling

High Demand for Advanced Manufacturing Positions

“The guaranteed monthly salary for an AI Engineer is 8,000 yuan, with compensation for exceptional candidates negotiated individually—there’s ‘no income ceiling’!” At the recruitment booth of Hubei Chuda Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., this introduction attracted the attention of many job-seeking students.

“This year, we are intensifying the intelligent upgrade of our product equipment and strengthening technological R&D and forward-looking planning.” The company has a high demand for talent, hoping to recruit for a series of positions including Industrial Robot Mechanical Design Engineers, Robot Solution Engineers, and PLC Software Engineers. Among these, the AI Engineer position alone requires hiring 15 people.

At the recruitment event, it was observed that participating companies were concentrated in Hubei’s “51020” advanced manufacturing and five major modern service industry clusters. Increased investment and intensified R&D have created a high demand for various types of talent in these enterprises.

Hubei Xiangdian New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. needs to recruit 15 Technical R&D Assistants. “The second phase of our project is already operational, and the third phase is in preparation, requiring us to reserve R&D talent in advance.” The company received over 20 resumes at the event, with job seekers showing high enthusiasm for Hubei-based enterprises.

“Our company’s scale continues to expand, reaching a new level each year, and this year’s orders are already scheduled through August.” Dongfeng Motor Power Components Co., Ltd. is recruiting for 25 positions in Mechanical Manufacturing Process and Automotive Electronics & Electrical Technology. Taking advantage of the pivot construction, the company has expanded its business from Shiyan to nationwide, with products also exported to Southeast Asia. It hopes to attract outstanding talent from across the country to help the company develop more steadily and successfully.

Job Seekers’ Specializations Highly Align with Hubei’s Industrial Needs

The group of enterprises recruiting in Henan reflects the eager demand for talent driven by pivot construction.

Last year, Hubei’s high-quality development surged with momentum, witnessing the emergence of advanced achievements like the world’s fastest maglev train, the world’s highest-strength flat-top pulsed magnetic field, and a rice high-temperature tolerance “gene switch.” Frontier technologies such as brain-computer interfaces, novel hollow-core optical fibers, and atomic quantum computers are accelerating towards industrialization. Four new industries, including software and R&D design, exceeded 500 billion yuan, while four others, like BeiDou applications, surpassed 100 billion yuan. Industries such as humanoid robots and artificial intelligence maintained revenue growth of over 20%. During the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, Hubei attracts over 400,000 university graduates for employment and entrepreneurship annually.

During the third plenary meeting and media open day of the Hubei delegation, Hubei issued a new-era invitation to talents worldwide to “Gather in Hubei, Jointly Build the Pivot.”

The decision to hold this national touring recruitment event at Zhengzhou University and Henan University was primarily due to the broad disciplinary coverage and strong talent foundation of these two universities, which highly align with the development of Hubei’s industries such as optoelectronics, biomedicine, advanced manufacturing, and health.

Attracting talent to Hubei is not only a practical need for pivot construction but also a “mutual pursuit” between talent development and regional capability enhancement.

“Yichang’s talent policies are truly powerful. Living subsidies can reach up to 300,000 yuan,
