Housing in Sawangan, Depok is increasingly sought after by home seekers. The area is considered strategic due to its proximity to South Jakarta, a favored residential location for the upper-middle class.

This is demonstrated by one housing development, namely the Morizono Cluster in the Gardens at Candi Sawangan area. This development has recorded positive sales.

Its location is south of Jakarta, making Sawangan one of the potential areas for residential development. The area has easy access to various important points in Jabodetabek through the Jakarta Outer Ring Road 2 (JORR 2) and Depok-Antasari Toll Road networks.

It was stated that the Japanese-style residential cluster sold out within months in 2025. The handover process of units to consumers is now underway.

The Morizono Cluster residential area is equipped with exclusive facilities. These include a club house, swimming pool, prayer room, children’s playground, and a commercial area.

“This trend aligns with the increasing public interest in housing in Sawangan, which offers a green environment and increasingly connected access to various conveniences and main infrastructure,” it was noted.

Furthermore, an additional 80 units will be added to meet the high public interest in this cluster housing. The additional residences consist of types 6, 7, and 8 with a booking fee starting from around IDR 5 million.

“The significant public interest in Morizono has encouraged us to once again present new units this year. We hope the presence of these homes can open more opportunities for Indonesian families to own quality residences with the concept and standards we bring directly from Japan,” it was added.

The new units are made ready for occupancy in 2026. This allows for a faster handover process and opens opportunities for consumers to obtain housing more affordably through the Government-Borne VAT (PPN DTP) incentive program.

Morizono is the result of a collaboration that carries the ‘The Art of Japanese Living’ design concept. It features construction quality referring to Japanese standards as well as international standards such as ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers).

“This design approach allows for optimal natural lighting and air circulation, creating a bright, cool, and comfortable residence,” it was explained.
