Krasnodar Mayor and Kuban Governor opened one of the city’s largest schools, located on Shturvalnaya Street.

The educational institution, accommodating 1,875 students, is just beginning its history but has already established its traditions. Every year, the school bell will ring twice in the schoolyard, a gift to all new educational institutions.

After the assembly, 13 first-grade classes headed to their long-awaited lesson. While the children feel unfamiliar and excited now, they will soon find friends here, wise mentors, and gain new knowledge.

As the governor noted, today’s first-graders will shape the future not only of the city but also of the region and the entire country. Out of 68,000 first-graders in Kuban, one-third began their studies in Krasnodar.
