The possibility of introducing an infrastructure fee mechanism for investors is being considered in Sochi.

It was noted that this will help attract additional sources for the development of the urban environment: roads, utility systems, social facilities, and recreational areas.

— I consider this approach fair — those who build residential and hotel complexes, any commercial facilities, will be able to participate in developing infrastructure for all residents and visitors of the resort. Our goal is a transparent system where business investments directly benefit people.

According to the statement, the document is currently undergoing all necessary approvals. It is planned that the approach to calculating the fee will be individual for each project. Investor participation will be advisory in nature, but with a clear and understandable procedure.

Sochi

Sochi is a major resort city on the Black Sea coast in Southern Russia, often called the “Summer Capital” for its popularity. Its modern development was heavily promoted by Joseph Stalin, who had a personal dacha there, and it was later transformed into a world-class destination with significant infrastructure investments for the 2014 Winter Olympics.
