I am a pony named ‘Ohagi’. I am a 6-year-old female at ‘Shinozaki Pony Land’, which is like being in my 20s in human years.
To coincide with the “Spring Traffic Safety Campaign” from the 6th to the 15th, I was appointed as the Chief of the Komatsugawa Police Station on the 11th.
This year is the Year of the Horse, which is why Pony Land was chosen. There are 10 ponies at the Land, and it was said that “Ohagi has leadership qualities and is suited to be the chief.”
Look right, look left, look right again, then raise the right hoof to cross. I have been practicing this way of crossing at a crosswalk, so I was able to demonstrate it at the venue.
Children, please be careful of cars. And, as the Chief also said, everyone, please be very careful about drinking and driving.
Shinozaki Pony Land
Shinozaki Pony Land is a small, family-oriented petting zoo and pony farm located in Shinozaki, within the Koto Ward of Tokyo, Japan. It was established to provide children, especially in an urban environment, with the opportunity to interact with and ride ponies and other gentle animals. While not a major historical site, it represents a longstanding local recreational facility dedicated to simple, hands-on animal experiences within the city.
Komatsugawa Police Station
Komatsugawa Police Station is a police station located in Tokyo’s Edogawa ward, primarily serving as a local law enforcement facility. It is historically significant as the site of the 1968 **Komatsugawa Police Station Incident**, a violent hostage crisis and shootout that resulted in multiple casualties and had a lasting impact on Japanese policing tactics.
