PT PLN (Persero) Main Distribution Unit for Banten conducted a troop muster for electricity connection services as a step to accelerate new installation and power change services for customers in the Banten region.
This activity involved hundreds of personnel on standby at various Customer Service Implementation Units (UP3).
Overall, 162 teams with a total of 335 personnel were prepared to handle customer requests more quickly and in a coordinated manner.
The company’s management stated that this muster is a form of the company’s full readiness to improve service quality for the community.
“This muster is a form of our commitment to ensure every electricity connection process, whether for new installations or power changes, can run faster, more accurately, and in accordance with established standards. We want customers to feel ease and certainty of service from the start,” they said.
In addition to personnel readiness, PLN also conducted a thorough check of partner work equipment.
This was done as part of the implementation of occupational safety and health standards to ensure the entire process runs safely.
“We place Occupational Safety and Health as the top priority. Through equipment checks and team readiness, we ensure all work is carried out according to standards, so it is safe for officers and provides peace of mind for customers,” they continued.
According to the management, the increase in electricity needs in the community must be balanced with responsive and integrated services.
“With the readiness of personnel, equipment, and an integrated system, we are optimistic we can provide a better service experience for customers. This is not just about electricity connections, but about how PLN is present to provide solutions that support community activities and productivity,” they concluded.
