Jakarta –
The President visited soldiers and civilians who were victims of the unrest at the National Police Hospital in Kramatjati, Jakarta. Prabowo stated that there was a woman who became a victim, suffering a broken thigh and having her motorcycle stolen while on her way to the market.
Initially, Prabowo said he felt compelled to visit the victims. He mentioned that 43 people were injured.
“Today I felt called to check on our personnel, our injured police officers. So far, more than 40 have been injured, 43 were injured, most have gone home, and now 17 are still here,” said Prabowo at the location.
Among the dozens of people, there was a woman who became a victim while on her way to shop at the market. The woman’s thigh was broken, and the motorcycle she was riding was taken.
“One of them is a woman who was going to the market, a woman going to the market on a motorcycle; her thigh was broken and her motorcycle was taken,” he said.
Furthermore, Prabowo conveyed that one victim suffered a severe head injury and had to undergo surgery. He mentioned that the most severe case was a victim whose kidney was stomped on until it was damaged.
“Others were hit; I’ve already visited 13 upstairs. Some are serious; one had to have their skull replaced with titanium due to a head injury, another had their arm severed and so on, thank God it could be reattached,” he explained.
“I want to check on the most severe case, whose kidney was stomped on until it was damaged. They now require dialysis. I don’t know, but if necessary, we will arrange transportation if it cannot be repaired; the kidney damage is very severe,” he continued.
