Two individuals with the initials RR and FP were arrested by police in West Java. The perpetrators have carried out five thefts in the Depok area.

“From the initial interrogation, the perpetrators admitted to having stolen motorcycles five times within the jurisdiction of the Metro Depok Police,” said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Metro Depok Police.

In addition to stealing motorcycles, the perpetrators admitted to stealing mountain bikes in the Sukmajaya and Beji areas.

“Furthermore, the perpetrators also admitted to stealing 3 mountain/downhill bikes, specifically 2 mountain bikes behind the gas station near the Sukmajaya Police Station, 1 mountain bike in the Mutiara Buana Housing Complex, Sukmajaya, and 1 mountain bike in Beji, Kukusan,” he stated.

RR acted as the executor. FP acted as the getaway driver and also monitored the situation around the crime scene.

From a video seen, Tuesday (26/8), two perpetrators riding together on a motorcycle are seen stopping in the victim’s house garage. The first perpetrator directly took the victim’s motorcycle and left the location.

It was narrated that the event occurred on Friday (26/6) during Friday prayers. It is suspected that the victim’s motorcycle had been targeted by the two perpetrators for a long time.

Both perpetrators were arrested on Sunday (24/8). RR was arrested in Cibulan, Sukmajaya, Depok, while FP was arrested in Cilodong, Depok.

Both perpetrators along with evidence have been secured at the Metro Depok Police Station for further investigation.

“The police will continue to develop the case to uncover possible networks and other criminal acts involving the perpetrators,” he concluded.
