The flood occurred on Monday (April 20, 2026) at 06:00 AM local time on the Cinere-Pondok Cabe connecting road, specifically on Lereng Indah Street and Bandung Street, Cinere, Depok. The overflow of the Pesanggrahan River made the connecting road impassable.

A Daihatsu Xenia car attempted to cross the road. At that time, the water level was not yet high, but it caused the car’s engine to stall.
“And there was one white Daihatsu Xenia car with license plate B-1997-WGZ, driven by Mr. N (an online taxi driver), who attempted to cross the road (at that time the water was not yet high, and the car’s engine died),” he said.
