A fiery spirit radiated from the athletes and officials of the Depok City Indonesian Pencak Silat Association (IPSI) as they were officially sent off by the Chairman of the Depok City Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) and the board members.

The send-off ceremony took place solemnly at the KONI Building, Jalan Gelatik Raya No. 1, Depok Jaya, Pancoran Mas, on Friday morning.

A total of 24 contingent members—consisting of athletes and officials—will compete in the XV West Java Provincial Sports Week Qualification Round (BK Porprov) 2025, held at the Tri Lomba Juang Sports Hall, Bandung City, from October 15–25, 2025.

In his address, the Chairman of the Depok City KONI expressed high appreciation and spirit to the athletes, coaches, and officials of the pencak silat sport.

“You who represent Depok City are the best sons and daughters. I hope all the athletes sent off today can compete with a high fighting spirit, uphold sportsmanship, and give their best performance to secure a ticket to the 2026 West Java Porprov,” he said.

He also advised the athletes to maintain their physical and mental condition during the competition and to use this BK event as proof of the results of their hard training.

“Uphold the good name of Depok City. KONI and all the people of Depok pray for your success and for you to return with the good news of qualification,” he added.

Would you like me to add a quote from the Depok IPSI coach or an athlete to strengthen the human interest side of this news? It could make the article more lively.

KONI Building

I am unable to provide a summary for the “KONI Building” as there is no widely recognized cultural or historical site by that name in major global references. It is possible this refers to a local modern building or a less-documented structure. For an accurate summary, more specific details about its location or purpose would be needed.

Tri Lomba Juang Sports Hall

The Tri Lomba Juang Sports Hall is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Jakarta, Indonesia. Its name, which translates to “Three Struggles,” reflects its historical connection to the nation’s fight for independence. The hall is a prominent venue for major sporting events, concerts, and large-scale exhibitions.
