The performance of the regional drinking water company Perumda Tirta Patriot in improving service quality and providing clean water to the community through business and service transformation is beginning to yield results. The achievements of this Bekasi City Government-owned regional enterprise were recognized with the “TOP BUMD Awards 2026” at the five-star level during the award ceremony at Hotel Raffles Jakarta.
Furthermore, the Director of Perumda Tirta Patriot Bekasi City was awarded as “TOP CEO BUMD 2026” and the Mayor of Bekasi City was honored with the award for “TOP BUMD Supervisor 2026”.
This achievement serves as tangible proof of the commitment of the Perumda Tirta Patriot Bekasi City team to consistently maintain business performance, public service, and innovation for improved management performance. This includes the implementation of good corporate governance, in accordance with Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles for sustainable business to support the advancement of regional economic development.
The Mayor of Bekasi, who received the award as “TOP BUMD Supervisor 2026”, in his address appreciated award events like the TOP BUMD Awards and also the achievement attained by Perumda Tirta Patriot Bekasi City. He expressed hope that this achievement would continue to drive better performance and service in the future.
“I highly appreciate this BUMD Awards event. Hopefully, this will serve as motivation for us in the regional enterprises, alongside serving the needs of the community. That regional enterprises also have the potential to support local revenue if managed professionally and well,” said the Mayor of Bekasi.
Meanwhile, the Director of Perumda Tirta Patriot Bekasi City expressed sincere gratitude to the organizers for bestowing upon him the award as one of the recipients of the TOP CEO BUMD honor. He also thanked the entire team of Perumda Tirta Patriot Bekasi City for their hard work and support which enabled the company to achieve this award.

The achievement of Perumda Tirta Patriot Bekasi City at the 5-Star level is linked to continuously improving performance and results, both in business aspects, governance within the management system, service, and customer base expansion.
The transformation undertaken by the company, both in the management system and governance related to the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) practices for professionalism, efficiency, and competitiveness, is increasingly yielding results, making it a healthier regional water enterprise.
Over the last three years, the number of customers has also increased from around 39,000 to over 170,000, supported by the acquisition of operational areas.
The increase in customers partly comes from the transfer of service management from Perumda Tirta Bhagasasi located in the Bekasi City area, integration of services in large housing complexes, and optimization of existing service areas. As a market acquisition strategy, the company also launched a program for free new connection installations, targeting to reach 27,000 customers by 2026.
Similarly, production capacity increased from 850 liters per second to 2,800 liters per second. The volume of water sold also rose to 17.6 million cubic meters, reflecting increased utilization of the company’s production capacity.
