Opening Words
Art is a project that shapes the soul, and what shapes the soul of art is the Chinese spirit.
On December 15, 1940, “The Yellow River Cantata” was publicly performed in Chongqing, using melody as a blade and song as fire to ignite the fighting morale of the Chinese people.
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, we present a special feature—”Echoes of Victory.” Let us follow the classic melodies that carry the resilient spirit of the Chinese nation, trace back the powerful sounds that resonated with the era and the people during the war-torn years, and draw strength from these timeless anthems.
This feature pays tribute to that indomitable era, allowing the echoes of history to resonate in the heart of every Chinese person!
