The divorce process between Indonesian national team footballer Pratama Arhan and his wife, Azizah Salsha, has entered a new phase.
The Tangerang District Court confirmed that the divorce lawsuit filed by Arhan has been granted through a default judgment.
This case is registered under number 4274/Pdt.G/2025/PA.Tgrs and was decided by the Tigaraksa Religious Court on Monday, August 25, 2025.
The divorce lawsuit was previously filed at the South Tangerang Religious Court on Friday, August 1, 2025.
The court spokesperson explained that this decision will become legally binding if there is no objection from Azizah’s side within the next 14 days.
“If there is no (objection from the defendant), within the next 14 days the decision will become legally binding. Only then will the schedule for the divorce oath session be set,” said the spokesperson.
Although the divorce process is proceeding quickly, neither Arhan nor Azizah attended the court proceedings in person. Both were represented by their respective legal representatives.
In the case documents, Arhan’s name was disguised and his legal representative acted on his behalf.
Following this default judgment, the next stage is the divorce oath session. However, the court schedule is still awaiting confirmation on whether there will be any objection from Azizah’s side.
Although the gavel has fallen, the divorce between Pratama Arhan and Azizah Salsha, daughter of a House of Representatives member, is not yet fully legal until the divorce oath is pronounced and obtains permanent legal force. The process could still continue to appeals or even cassation if there are legal efforts from the defendant’s side.
