A new law coming into effect on September 1 regulates commercial activities within horticultural non-profit partnerships (SNT). For instance, the government prohibits placing hostels, auto repair shops, warehouses, plant nurseries, stores, and other facilities on these plots.
- As an exception, gardeners are allowed to sell their harvest but without hiring additional workers. The plot area must not exceed 50 acres.
- It was also noted that starting in 2025, a three-year period begins during which landowners must maintain their plots (keeping them in a minimally groomed condition). Otherwise, owners may face fines or confiscation of their land.
