Additional parking spaces have become available for residents of the Chertanovo Severnoye district following the removal of an illegal commercial parking lot. This was reported by the press service of the State Inspectorate for Real Estate Use Control of Moscow.

“Inspectors found that a paid parking lot had been set up on a public land plot without the necessary permits. A security booth was installed at the entrance, and not everyone who wanted to park their car near their home could do so. Given that the land was being used unlawfully, the illegal parking lot has been removed. Now, residents of the district can freely use this area,” the statement quotes the head of the State Real Estate Inspectorate.

It is noted that the land plot, covering 1,400 square meters and located on Balaklavsky Prospekt, vl. 5, opposite building 3, had been illegally fenced off, causing significant inconvenience to local residents. The dismantling of the illegal fencing and the security post structure has now been completed, and the area has been restored.

“We understand how important it is for residents to have access to parking near their homes, and the removal of the illegal parking lot will provide much more space for convenient car parking. This area can accommodate up to 77 cars. These changes will not only improve the traffic situation but also enhance the comfort level for every car owner,” the head added.
