The family expressed strong anger against the Election Commission. It was learned that the booth officer informed them that neither of their names was on the voter list. At that time, the elderly couple showed the Supreme Court’s order. They were then asked to submit a printed copy of that Supreme Court directive. Even after doing so, the couple was allegedly unable to vote. They were told at that time to obtain written permission from the district magistrate’s office in Siuri.
