On April 23, 2026, the Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries confirmed that the role of the Tripoli International Fair is no longer limited to being just a display space, but has become an integrated platform that contributes to supporting and developing the tourism sector.

He explained, on the sidelines of the 52nd edition of the Tripoli International Fair and its centenary founding, that the fair plays an important role in enhancing promotional campaigns for tourist destinations, in addition to providing the opportunity to hold direct meetings with relevant parties, which strengthens opportunities for cooperation and exchange of expertise.

He pointed out that such events contribute to creating positive momentum that supports the tourism sector and stimulates the development and improvement of the quality of services provided to visitors, reflecting the true image of Libya’s tourism potential.

Tripoli International Fair

The Tripoli International Fair is a large exhibition complex in Tripoli, Lebanon, designed by the renowned Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer in the 1960s.
