PT PLN (Persero) has launched a program offering a 50 percent discount on electricity capacity upgrades, titled “Power Up Real, Electricity Secure, Work Smoothly”.
This program is rolled out to support the needs of people carrying out Work From Home (WFH) activities.
The promotion is valid from April 15 to April 28, 2026, and is intended for low-voltage single-phase customers with an initial capacity of 450 VA to 5,500 VA who wish to upgrade their capacity to a maximum of 7,700 VA.
It was stated that increased activity at home leads to greater electricity needs.
Therefore, PLN is providing convenience so that people can remain comfortable in their activities.
“Through this program, PLN aims to provide ease of electricity capacity upgrades for customers at a lower cost, so that people can carry out activities at home, especially WFH, comfortably without worrying about power shortages,” the statement said.
This amount is equivalent to a 50 percent discount from the normal cost of Rp 6,201,600.
Applications for this program are conducted entirely through the PLN Mobile application. Prepaid customers need to make at least one token purchase, while postpaid customers need to settle their electricity bill.
After a successful transaction, customers will receive an e-voucher for the discount, which can be found in the “Reward” menu in the app or via their registered email. This code is then used when applying for the capacity upgrade.
“The process is easy and fast, only through the PLN Mobile application,” the statement noted.
PLN emphasizes that this program is only valid for customers registered before April 1, 2026, and who do not have any outstanding electricity bills.
It was suggested that the public take advantage of this promotion so that electricity needs at home can be met, especially to support work activities and daily productivity from home.
