TANGERANG – As a follow-up to the circular letter from the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform No. 9 of 2020 regarding the adjustment of the civil servant work system in efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in government agencies, the Regent of Tangerang, Ahmed Zaki Iskandar, issued a circular regarding amendments to the previous Tangerang Regent’s circular No: – General Affairs.
The Tangerang Regent’s circular No. – General Affairs was signed on March 30, 2020. There are several additional and revised points as outlined below:
A. The implementation of the work system adjustment referred to in the previous Regent’s circular has been amended as follows:
1. Employees required to attend work include High Leadership Officials (equivalent to echelon 3a), District Heads, Village Heads, as well as the Health Office, DPMPTSP, Regional Hospitals, Community Health Centers, BPBD, Satpol PP, Transportation Office, Population and Civil Registration Office, sanitation workers, and public works field personnel.
2. Employees in administrative positions (equivalent to echelon 3B), supervisors, and operational staff who can work from home are delegated to the respective Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) heads, with consideration not to disrupt public services and organizational operations, as stipulated by a written order from the regional head.
B. Apart from the above, the points in the previous Tangerang Regent’s circular No. – General Affairs regarding the follow-up to the Minister’s circular No. 19 of 2020 on adjusting the civil servant work system to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in government environments remain valid and are integrated with this circular until new policies are established.
C. The extension of work-from-home arrangements is prolonged until April 21, 2020, and will be further evaluated as needed.
Previously, the Tangerang Regent had issued an earlier circular No. – General Affairs regarding the follow-up to the Minister’s circular on adjusting the civil servant work system to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Tangerang Regency, effective from March 18 to March 30, 2020.
