While hosting the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, President Prabowo was seen drinking sparkling apple cider that caught netizens’ attention.
Then there is also the success story of a female entrepreneur who can earn hundreds of millions of rupiah from selling dumplings. She also opens cooking classes that are popular.
Lastly, there is Lontong Cibadak, which has become a viral culinary hit in Bandung. Many people are willing to queue for a long time just to taste this lontong menu.
Many thought the drink was alcoholic, but the Palace confirmed that both enjoyed non-alcoholic sparkling apple cider from the American brand Martinelli’s.
This drink is made from 100 percent apple juice with characteristics similar to white wine, bright yellow and lightly bubbly. Besides being safe for all ages, sparkling apple cider is also known to have health benefits, such as supporting digestion, lowering blood sugar levels, and being rich in antioxidants.
It started by selling packages of ingredients and tools for making traditional Chinese dumplings, Mui then opened cooking classes that were immediately favored by many. Inspired by her family tradition and personal experiences after losing a loved one, Mui chose a more fulfilling career path. She now routinely teaches private cooking classes with up to 100 participants.

3. Viral Lontong in Bandung
Established 20 years ago, this simple stall offers four variations of lontong, including plain, red bean, oncom, and chicken fillings, complete with the distinctive oncom sambal sauce. Its unique taste and affordable price (Rp 5,000-Rp 6,000) make it a favorite among locals and tourists alike.
Complementary menus such as pastels, bakwan, and stuffed tofu also add to the attraction. In one day, Lontong Cibadak finishes with 2,000 pieces of lontong and always sells out.
