PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) successfully held the Bandung 2025 for two days on August 30–31, 2025 in Kota Baru Parahyangan. This annual event is a form of BCA’s appreciation for customers and a concrete step in encouraging economic growth in Greater Bandung and its surroundings.

The event featured various attractive promotions, including special interest rates for Home Ownership Loans (KPR) starting from 1.65% effective per year fixed for 1 year, provision discounts up to 50%, administrative fee reductions, to life insurance discounts.

For Motor Vehicle Loans (KKB), BCA offers light interest rates starting from 1.65% flat per year with a 1-year tenor for new passenger car type vehicles. As for motorcycle credit (KSM), promotions are available with down payments starting from Rp800 thousand.

The event was opened directly by BCA Director Haryanto T. Budiman, together with Head of Regional Office I BCA Hianni and Chairman of the 2025 Bandung Committee Trisulo Bayu Putra. In his speech, Haryanto emphasized that Greater Bandung has strong and resilient economic potential.

“Bandung is not just a buffer for Jakarta, but has developed into an epicenter of economic growth in West Java. This city has a creative DNA that serves as an economic locomotive,” explained Haryanto.

In addition to KPR and KKB promotions, Bandung 2025 also collaborated with 63 automotive dealers and 14 property developer groups. BCA also involved its subsidiaries, such as BCA Life, BCA Insurance, and BCA Syariah, which provided complete financial solutions ranging from investment, transactions, to protection.

Damage to transportation facilities and traffic equipment in Bandung City due to demonstrations is confirmed to reach a significant number. The Head of the Transportation Department (Dishub) of Bandung City, Rasdian Setiadi, revealed that material losses are estimated to be over Rp1 billion and affect the traffic monitoring system on several main road sections of the city.

“The damage is quite substantial. Three intersections suffered total damage, namely Sulanjana Intersection, Cikapayang Dago Intersection, and Cilamaya Intersection. In addition, supporting equipment such as CCTV, monitoring cameras, data communication devices, and controllers were also burned. Material losses are estimated to be over Rp1 billion,” said Rasdian when met in Bandung.

He further explained that the impact of this damage has paralyzed the Area Traffic Control System (ATCS) for the northern Bandung area. Several intersections connected to the system cannot be monitored because the monitoring network and cameras are not functioning.

“With the damage to these devices, areas from Sulanjana, Cikapayang Dago, to Pasteur cannot be monitored in real-time,” he explained.
