Hyderabad, Family is a person’s first temple, where every moment spent, every instant, gives us the comfort of happiness. From birth until the final moment of life, what gives a person the feeling of love, shelter, and belonging—that is what family is. We may only spend half an hour or an hour in God’s temple, but if we give the home and family where we live 24 hours a day the same pure form as a temple, then our home will become a heaven for us.

These thoughts were expressed by National Saint Shri Chandraprabhji Maharaj while addressing devotees during a discourse program organized by the Necklace Pride Jain Sangh and the beneficiary families at Necklace Pride in Kavadiguda.

Adding to relationships is essential; if they break, the math of life gets disrupted

The mathematics of family teaches us that numbers like 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, no matter how large, will have less value if they keep fighting among themselves. But if they maintain harmony, then even 1 and 0, despite being of lesser stature, can create ten times their value. The revered saint said that one brother has two hands, and another brother has two hands. If we remain divided, even our two hands will seem weak, but if there is love and coordination between us, two brothers will not remain two but become four-armed. Learn to decorate your home. If someone gets upset, learn to appease them.

Relationships are made in heaven. Do not let them break; instead, learn to nurture them. Relationships are as fragile as glass; one jolt and they shatter into pieces. The only difference is that glass breaks by mistake, and relationships break due to misunderstandings. Even if you don’t like a particular relationship, do not make the foolish mistake of breaking it. If dirty water cannot be used for drinking, so what? At the very least, it can be used to extinguish a fire.

On the occasion, Dr. Muni Shantipriya Sagarji said that today’s person is getting trapped in the labyrinth of desires and passions. A person has everything, but there is no trace of satisfaction in their mind. A 28-year-old youth is entangled in desires, and even an 88-year-old elder has not been freed from desires. A fakir’s needs are fulfilled, but even a king’s desires remain incomplete. Today’s person has two weaknesses: money and fair skin. Upon seeing wealth and a beautiful woman, a person’s mind turns dark.
