Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislative party leader has demanded that Chief Minister’s government extend the monsoon session of the assembly to four weeks. A meeting of the BJP legislative party and BJP legislative council party was organized at the BJP headquarters in the presence of the state BJP president and state BJP organization in-charge.

The meeting was attended by the BJP legislative party leader, legislative council party leader, MLCs, deputy leader of the legislative party, MLAs and others. Later, at the BJP legislative party office in the assembly premises, MLAs held a meeting under the leadership of the leader and discussed various issues before speaking to the media, accusing the government of gross failure in fulfilling promises made to the people.

The leader said that people are suffering due to heavy rains and floods. Thousands of acres of crops have been destroyed. There has been heavy loss of life and property, but the government has not taken action. In such a situation, the BJP will corner the government in the assembly in favor of the people.
