Saudi Arabian Airlines and Saudi Ground Services Company have established a partnership to cooperate in providing check-in services for guests from their place of residence, including baggage collection.

The service is initially available only for departures and arrivals from Jeddah

The partnership offers several diverse options including baggage collection and delivery of boarding passes from the residence to the airport and vice versa, with the possibility of combining the service for both outbound and return flights in a single request, saving time and effort and providing guests with a more comfortable experience.

The service will be available 24/7 throughout the week, with the time period for using the service set from 24 hours before the flight time up to 6 hours, in line with the approved check-in period. Guests will be able to track the status of their requests through the dedicated link on the website, with notifications sent to their email at every stage of the service.

The first phase will begin during the fourth quarter of this year, where the service will be available only for departures and arrivals from Jeddah. Guests will be able to benefit from the service through multiple contact points including the booking confirmation page, booking management, and digital check-in, as well as through sales offices and travel agents, ensuring broader access and greater flexibility for all guests.

It was emphasized that there will be commitment to providing the best standards in terms of both time and quality, contributing to smooth airport movement and accelerating and facilitating guests’ arrival at the departure gate. The service in its subsequent phases will include Riyadh during the first quarter of 2026, with expansion to other cities to follow later.

This partnership represents a pioneering strategic step that reflects the commitment to providing an exceptional travel experience for passengers and confirms the position as a national interface showcasing the efficiency in providing ground handling services with the highest standards of quality and precision. This service comes within the framework of the company’s qualitative development programs in innovation, digital transformation, automation, and sustainability.

Jeddah

Jeddah is a major port city on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast, historically serving as the gateway for pilgrims traveling to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. Its historic core, Al-Balad, is a UNESCO World Heritage site famed for its distinctive traditional houses built from coral stone. While deeply rooted in its trading and pilgrimage history, Jeddah has evolved into a modern, cosmopolitan commercial hub for the country.

Riyadh

Riyadh is the capital and largest city of Saudi Arabia, serving as the nation’s political and administrative center. Historically a walled oasis town, it was the ancestral home of the Al Saud dynasty and was captured in 1902 by King Abdulaziz Al Saud, an event that marked the beginning of the unification of the modern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Since the discovery of oil, it has transformed into a modern metropolis and a major financial hub.
