Lao Cai – Hanoi – Hai Phong railway line

The Lao Cai–Hanoi–Hải Phòng railway line is a crucial transportation artery in northern Vietnam, originally constructed during the French colonial period in the early 20th century. It connects the mountainous border province of Lao Cai (and onward to China) with the capital Hanoi and the major port city of Hải Phòng, facilitating trade, tourism, and regional integration.
