At 8:00 PM on June 6, U19 Cambodia will face U19 Philippines in the second match of Group C of the championship. The match will be broadcast live on TV360.

Since Group C has only three teams, U19 Australia will have a rest in this round.

U19 Philippines must win against Cambodia to keep their hopes of advancing alive. They lost heavily 0-10 to U19 Australia in the first match.

However, they are a very interesting unknown in this year’s tournament. Their youth football has seen significant progress recently and promises to create surprises in the tournament in Indonesia.

Against a disjointed U19 Philippines, U19 Cambodia is definitely aiming for a full three points.

The 2026 U19 Southeast Asia Championship takes place from June 1 to 14 in Indonesia with 11 participating teams. Group A includes Vietnam, Indonesia, Timor-Leste, and Myanmar. Group B has Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei. Group C consists of Australia, Cambodia, and Philippines.

The teams play a round-robin format for points. The three group winners and the best runner-up will advance to the semifinals.

Winning against U19 Myanmar in the second match of Group A of the 2026 U19 Southeast Asia Championship, taking place in Indonesia at 4:00 PM today (June 4), will help the U19 Vietnam team maintain their race for a semifinal spot.

Indonesia

Indonesia is a Southeast Asian archipelago nation with over 17,000 islands, known for its rich cultural diversity and history as a major hub for ancient trade routes, including the spice trade. Its history includes powerful Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms like Srivijaya and Majapahit, followed by centuries of Dutch colonial rule, and a struggle for independence declared in 1945. Today, Indonesia is the world’s largest Muslim-majority country, with iconic cultural sites such as Borobudur and Prambanan temples reflecting its layered heritage.
