On August 26, the Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the People’s Council of Phú Nghĩa commune and the working delegation of the Party Committee visited private homes to present Party Badges to senior Party members on the occasion of September 2.

During this September 2 period, the Party Committee of Phú Nghĩa commune had 22 Party members receive 65, 50, and 40-year Party membership badges. Among them, three senior Party members with poor health were unable to travel, so the commune Party Committee organized a working delegation to present the badges at their private homes.

The delegation visited and presented the 65-year Party membership badge to comrade Nguyễn Gia Tăng (born 1935, Đồi 2 hamlet), former Chief Judge of the People’s Court of the former Chương Mỹ district, who retired in 1987 and was exempted from Party activities since 2005. Subsequently, the delegation presented the 50-year Party membership badge to comrade Lê Quốc Tuấn (born 1951, Trung Hoàng hamlet Party cell) and the 40-year Party membership badge to comrade Trần Văn Sơn (born 1964, Nhật Tiến hamlet Party cell).

At the families’ homes, the Secretary cordially inquired about their health and living conditions, expressing pride and appreciation for the contributions of the senior Party members. The Secretary affirmed that this is a noble reward and the Party’s recognition of their contributions to the revolutionary cause, while hoping that the Party members would continue to promote their exemplary role and serve as historical witnesses to educate the younger generation about traditions.
