On the morning of February 28, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc and other candidates for the 16th National Assembly (term 2026-2031) – Constituency No. 10 of Hanoi City – met with voters to report on their action programs and conduct election campaigning.

The conference was held in person in Dong Anh commune and connected online to the communes of: Thu Lam, Phuc Thinh, Thien Loc, and Vinh Thanh.

Constituency No. 10 of Hanoi City has 5 candidates for the National Assembly, including: Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc – Politburo Member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee; Comrade Lam Thi Phuong Thanh – Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Comrade Au Thi Thuy Ha – Deputy Head of the Investment – Procurement Department of Vietnam Airlines Corporation; Comrade Nguyen Duc Huan – Principal Specialist of the Office of the Hanoi City Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and People’s Council; Senior Colonel Le Nhat Thanh – Deputy Director of the Domestic Security Department – Ministry of Public Security, seconded as a full-time National Assembly deputy working at the National Assembly’s Council for Ethnic Affairs of the 15th term.

Action programs closely follow issues of Capital and national development

At the beginning of the conference, voters listened to brief biographies of the candidates for the 16th National Assembly (term 2026-2031), Constituency No. 10 of Hanoi City.

Subsequently, the candidates sequentially reported to voters on their proposed action programs if elected as deputies of the 16th National Assembly and listened to voters’ recommendations and aspirations.

Presenting their action programs to voters, the candidates expressed their honor at being nominated for the 16th National Assembly; affirming that the action program is the basis for effectively promoting the role of the people’s representative, truthfully reflecting and maximally protecting the interests and aspirations of the People.

In their action programs, the National Assembly candidate candidates affirmed close contact with voters, subject to voter supervision, regular voter contact, understanding voters’ thoughts and aspirations; collecting and truthfully reflecting voters’ opinions and recommendations to the National Assembly, relevant agencies and organizations, thereby making practical contributions to the development cause of the Capital and the country.

The candidates also affirmed that if elected as National Assembly deputies, they will strive to be worthy of the trust, confidence, and expectations of voters; improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of the National Assembly’s activities, actively contributing to areas within their expertise, such as: fully, responsibly, and with quality participating in the legislative activities of the 16th National Assembly; seriously performing the supreme supervisory function and deciding important issues of the National Assembly; contributing solutions to continuously improve the daily quality of life of the Capital’s people.
