Krasnodar, August 6 – A severe heatwave is expected in the Krasnodar region on August 7, with temperatures reaching up to +39°C, according to the regional emergency services.

Along the Black Sea coast, temperatures will also remain high, ranging between +37-38°C.

Due to the extreme heat, rescuers recommend following several precautions: wear light, breathable cotton clothing and hats, avoid strenuous physical activity, move slowly to conserve energy, and stay in shaded areas as much as possible.

It is also important to limit alcohol consumption and drink plenty of fluids, preferably still mineral water. In case of emergencies, call “112,” “01,” or “101.”
