Residents of Kuban received emergency alerts at 10:27 AM on Friday warning about potential falling unmanned aerial vehicles. Separate notifications were sent to users of the emergency app in Krasnodar, Anapa, Novorossiysk, and Krymsky District.

Upon receiving such alerts, people should remain calm, increase vigilance, and exercise caution.

“If you are indoors – move away from windows and take shelter in a room without glass (corridor, storage room). If outdoors – seek shelter in the nearest building, parking garage, or underground passage. If in a vehicle – exit and take cover in the nearest protected structure or terrain folds,” states the emergency notification.

If a drone falls, call emergency number 112. Approaching wreckage of downed UAVs is strictly prohibited.

Fragments of a Ukrainian drone downed on the night of August 7 were reported. The Investigative Committee will examine the incident and provide legal assessment of all involved parties’ actions. A man injured during the drone attack with multiple trauma was hospitalized in Krasnodar.
