Krasnodar From January 31 to February 1, heavy rains and downpours accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds with speeds of 20-25 m/s are forecast in some areas of the southern half of the Krasnodar region, according to the press service of the regional emergency monitoring and forecasting center.

On the southwestern tributaries of the Kuban River and on the rivers of the Black Sea coast from Anapa to Magri, water levels are expected to rise to unfavorable levels and higher.

Due to deteriorating weather conditions in the Tuapse municipal district, Anapa, Goryachy Klyuch, Gelendzhik, Novorossiysk, as well as the Abinsky, Apsheronsky, Belorechensky, Krymsky, Seversky, and Temryuksky districts, there is a possibility of emergencies.

Possible flooding and waterlogging of areas, activation of exogenous processes, disruptions to the operation of life support facilities, and accidents at energy facilities. The risk of traffic accidents also increases due to reduced visibility.

Krasnodar
