Two teenagers escaped from a social rehabilitation center in the village of Novominskaya on the evening of July 21.
For over 15 hours, their whereabouts were unknown. Law enforcement and volunteers searched for them.
Around 11:30 AM on July 22, it was reported that the teenagers had been found. Concerned citizens called the police. The minors were located in the village of Staroderevyankovskaya, 25 km away from the rehabilitation center.
“Police arrived at the scene and found the minors. Their lives and health are not in danger. Currently, juvenile affairs officers are working with them,” the statement said.
The teenagers had left the “Kanevskaya Social Rehabilitation Center for Minors” at 7:50 PM and headed in an unknown direction.
