A man in his 40s, whose address and other details are unknown, was arrested on suspicion of robbery causing injury.
According to police, the man broke into the residence in Ama City around 9:30 PM on the 23rd and was rummaging for valuables near the entrance.
He is suspected of causing injury to the resident, a man in his 30s, by charging into him when the resident discovered him and tried to apprehend him.
The man admitted, “It is true that I was looking around to steal valuables,” but partially denied the allegations, stating, “I did not charge into him.”
The resident sustained scrapes on his leg.
Police are working to identify the man and are investigating the detailed circumstances of the incident.
