An Aichi Prefecture employee received a summary order to pay a fine of 500,000 yen for secretly filming under a woman’s skirt in Nagoya City.
According to the prefecture, a 34-year-old male employee of the Prefectural Citizens’ Culture Bureau allegedly used his smartphone to film under a woman’s skirt inside an elevator of an apartment building in Naka Ward, Nagoya City, around 4 a.m. on May 23.
The male employee received a summary order for a fine of 500,000 yen on the 2nd. The fine has been paid in full.
In response to the prefecture’s inquiry, the male employee stated that he had been dining with colleagues involving alcohol and said, “I have no memory of the incident.”
The prefecture has stated that it will handle the employee’s disciplinary action strictly.
