Three methamphetamine dealers in the Tangerang area were arrested by the Narcotics Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Regional Police. From the three suspects, authorities confiscated 3 kg of meth ready for distribution.
The suspects, identified as S (42), J (37), and R (37), were apprehended in the Aeon Mall BSD area of Tangerang Regency and the Sky House Apartment in South Tangerang City.
“The evidence seized was 3 kilograms of methamphetamine,” officials stated on Thursday, July 10, 2025.
The case was uncovered after reports from residents who suspected drug transactions occurring near the lobby of Aeon Mall BSD.
Based on this information, police conducted surveillance starting July 8, 2025, leading to the arrest of two suspects, S.
“The following day, suspect J was arrested on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, around 2:00 PM local time. From these two individuals, we confiscated one package of meth,” officials added.
Further investigation led authorities to the third suspect, R, who was arrested at his residence in Sky House Apartment, South Tangerang, on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at approximately 11:30 AM local time.
“Officers seized two additional meth packages, each weighing over one kilogram, from the location. All three suspects are currently undergoing intensive questioning for further investigation,” officials concluded.
