During his lifetime, Vidi Aldiano was known to have battled kidney cancer, which was diagnosed in 2019.

He once shared the beginning of his illness in a video titled I Had Cancer, uploaded to his personal YouTube channel.

In the video, Vidi revealed that his health issues began when he lost his voice and visited an ENT doctor in October 2019. During the examination, he was also found to have hypertension.

“It started in October 2019, when I actually lost my voice, and I went to an ENT specialist. There, I had my blood pressure checked and everything, and suddenly they said, ‘Vidi, you have hypertension, right?'” said Vidi in the video.

After further examinations, including an ultrasound in Singapore, doctors found a lump on his kidney.

From that point on, Vidi underwent a series of tests until he was finally diagnosed with kidney cancer and received various treatments.
