Hyderabad, the traffic police of Malkajgiri conducted a special campaign against drunk drivers between May 31 and June 6, catching a total of 152 drivers under the influence of alcohol. The traffic police reported that cases were registered against 19 drunk drivers in Alwal, 16 in Tirumalagiri, 31 in Begumpet, 30 in Gopalapuram, 12 in Malkajgiri, 15 in L.B. Nagar, 21 in Kushaiguda, and 8 in Jawahar Nagar.

Additionally, during the past week, 1,054 cases of cellphone driving, 1,922 cases of triple riding, 1,343 cases of overspeeding, 934 cases of signal jumping, 8,039 cases of driving in the wrong direction, and 13,915 cases related to illegal parking were registered.
