The Samosir District Prosecutor’s Office stated that the investigation process has been completed and is now in the final stage before the case is transferred (Stage II). This transfer marks the readiness of the public prosecutors to bring this case to trial.
It was conveyed that the case files are nearly finished and ready to be transferred in the near future.
“The case files are almost complete. They will be transferred to the court shortly for an immediate trial. It is confirmed for early April,” the statement said.
Regarding the possibility of other suspects, the prosecutor’s office stated it would monitor the facts revealed during the trial.
“We will see later in the trial whether other suspects will emerge or not,” the statement added.
Meanwhile, the reporter, Marko Sihotang, requested that all parties involved in the alleged social assistance irregularities be thoroughly investigated.
“All involved parties must be investigated so that the handling of this case is truly complete and provides a sense of justice,” he emphasized.

The public is advised to follow the trial process objectively and not be influenced by unverified information. The trial is expected to clearly reveal the alleged irregularities in the social assistance program.
In this case, the Samosir District Prosecutor’s Office has named and detained a suspect, namely the former Head of the Social Service and Community Empowerment Office, Fitri Agus Karokaro.
