The Mikasa City Museum’s branch facility, the “Forest Materials Exhibition Room,” closed on the 6th due to the aging of the building. This facility, which had conveyed the history of forestry and nature in a city where forests cover 80% of the area for 34 years, has ended its role. The stored items will continue to be preserved and utilized for the region.
