Deli Serdang. The Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Deli Serdang Police successfully thwarted a large-scale drug distribution, namely 50 kg of crystal methamphetamine, around three thousand ecstasy pills, etomidate vape, and happy water.

In the operation at the Lubuk Pakam toll gate, three individuals suspected of being dealers were arrested by the police.

Information gathered on Friday (24/4/2026), this case was uncovered after the Narcotics Unit I of the Deli Serdang Police received information regarding suspicious activities related to drug distribution within the jurisdiction of the Deli Serdang Police.

On Monday night (20/4/2026), a team led by the Head of Narcotics Unit, accompanied by the Head of Narcotics Investigation Unit I, conducted an intensive tailing of an Avanza car suspected of carrying drugs from Aek Ledong, Asahan Regency, towards Serdang Bedagai Regency and entering the Kisaran toll road.

Upon arrival at the Lubuk Pakam toll exit, personnel who had confirmed the Avanza car was the target immediately carried out a raid.

After inspection, the police secured three men suspected of being involved in the narcotics distribution.

From the three individuals, the police seized an estimated 50 kg of crystal methamphetamine packaged in 50 packages, ecstasy, etomidate vape, and happy water.

The Head of Narcotics Unit of Deli Serdang Police, when confirmed, verified the uncovering of the drug case.

“An estimated 50 kg of crystal methamphetamine, thousands of ecstasy pills and others,” he said.

Currently, the authorities are still conducting in-depth examinations of the three men and securing the evidence at the Deli Serdang Police Headquarters.

“All three have been named suspects, we plan to hold a press release. This is an international network,” he concluded.
