A number of community figures and mass organizations in Serdang Bedagai Regency (Sergai) expressed appreciation and support for the Regional Police (Polda) for successfully maintaining public security and order in the North Sumatra Province region.

This appreciation was conveyed during a gathering following a flood relief social service activity as a form of respect for the leadership of the North Sumatra Regional Police Chief.

The figures assessed that under this leadership, the public security and order situation in North Sumatra remains conducive, particularly in law enforcement against various forms of crime.

Furthermore, the North Sumatra Police were also considered successful in supporting government programs such as food security and free nutritious meals.

“This success is tangible proof of the seriousness of the Indonesian National Police, particularly the North Sumatra Police, in protecting the community and enforcing the law, to the extent that we feel safe conducting activities to earn a living even at night,” said a figure.

Appreciation was also expressed by representatives from Swara Bhayangkara and the Large Family of Police Sons and Daughters (KBPP Polri).

“We convey our highest appreciation to the North Sumatra Regional Police Chief for his performance and that of his ranks who have successfully maintained security in the North Sumatra region,” they stated.

Similar sentiments were expressed by a representative from KBPP Polri, as well as a chairman of a mass organization in Sergai. They assessed that the firm steps taken by the North Sumatra Police Chief in eradicating drugs, gambling, and other social vices have increased the sense of security and public trust in the police institution.

The figures hope that synergy between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), local government, mass organizations, and all community elements will continue to be maintained to create a safe, orderly, and prosperous North Sumatra.
