Singer Chikita Meidy has spoken out regarding her divorce process with Indra Adhitya. In the hearing held at the Tigaraksa Religious Court, the next agenda was to hear testimony from witnesses presented by Chikita Meidy’s side.
On the same occasion as the end of the mediation process in court, Chikita Meidy emphasized that their marital status has ended. However, she reminded that the responsibility as a father to their son remains unchanged.
“For me, to Indra, I have forgiven you, and from now on you are no longer my husband, but you remain Javier’s father. There is no such thing as an ex-father, an ex-child, but there is an ex-husband, there is an ex-wife,” said Chikita Meidy when met at the Tigaraksa Religious Court.
Besides addressing family matters, Chikita Meidy also delivered a message hoping that Indra Adhitya would repent and leave behind what she called the dark side that has hurt many people.
“May your path be better in the future than it is now. If possible, pray for repentance. There has been too much of your dark side, because it’s sad for the deceased in heaven whom you have hurt, and now you are hurting women too,” expressed Chikita Meidy.
Not only moral messages, she also reminded several obligations that must be fulfilled by Indra. Starting from co-parenting commitments, financial matters, to the judge’s message not to drag their child into their problems.
“For our child, please do co-parenting, and don’t forget to return the debts. Also, if possible, the judge also asked Indra to introspect, right? To not involve the child in this,” she explained.
Furthermore, Chikita Meidy reaffirmed that her main priority now is raising Javier. According to her, although the marriage has ended, parental responsibilities cannot be abandoned.
“Regarding marital affairs, it’s over, we’re definitely divorced. But when it comes to our child, please, Javier’s living needs, Javier’s future, that is still our responsibility, Ndra,” she concluded.
Chikita Meidy married Indra Adithya in 2018. From their marriage, they were blessed with one child.
Their married life was once far from public spotlight, until Chikita Meidy decided to file for divorce in 2025.
