“Scavenger Steals 3 Kg Gas Cylinder from Depok Shop, Caught on CCTV; Police Investigate”

A scavenger was allegedly caught on CCTV stealing a 3 kg LPG gas cylinder from a shop in Tapos, Depok. Police are investigating the case.
From the video, the scavenger was seen carrying a sack while walking through an alley. The scavenger took the gas cylinder from the shop and left.
The Cimanggis Police Chief, Kompol Jupriono, stated that the incident occurred on Thursday (17/7) on Sindang Karsa Street, Tapos, Depok. The suspect was recorded on CCTV stealing a 3 kg gas cylinder.
“The scavenger stole a 3 kg gas cylinder. In the CCTV footage, the scavenger quickly took the gas cylinder belonging to the shop,” said Jupriono in his statement on Sunday (20/7).
The shop owner later reported the incident to the local community police officer. The victim then filed a police report at the Cimanggis Police Station.
“The case is currently being handled by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cimanggis Police Station,” he concluded.
